Adding Free Music from Freesound

Browse Free Music

Highlight Studio includes a built-in music browser powered by Freesound.org, giving you access to thousands of royalty-free sounds and music tracks.

How to Add Music

1. In the timeline, click the + Track button
2. Select Browse Free Music
3. Search for music or use quick tags like Ambient, Piano, Guitar, Electronic, Lo-fi, Cinematic, Upbeat, Chill
4. Click the play button on any track to preview it
5. Click + Add to download and insert the track at the current playhead position

Details

• Tracks are filtered to 5 seconds – 5 minutes duration, sorted by rating
• Preview audio plays directly in the browser without downloading
• Downloaded tracks are saved locally to the Music/ folder for offline access
• Music is added as an audio track on the timeline — you can adjust volume, trim, and reposition it
• All sounds are Creative Commons licensed from Freesound.org
