Naming and Looping Zoom Regions

Custom Zoom Labels

When you have several zoom regions in a project, it can be hard to tell them apart. You can give each one a custom name to keep things organized.

How to Rename a Zoom Region

  1. Right-click on a zoom region card in the Zoom settings panel.
  2. Select Rename...
  3. Type a descriptive name like "Hero section" or "CTA button focus".
  4. Click OK. The label appears in the settings panel and on the timeline.

To remove a label, right-click and choose Clear Label.

Loop Playback for a Zoom Region

When adjusting zoom settings — level, focus point, easing — it's helpful to see the effect play over and over. The loop button does exactly that.

How to Loop

  1. Click the repeat icon on any zoom region card in the settings panel.
  2. Press play. The playhead will loop between the zoom region's start and end.
  3. Adjust settings while it loops — changes apply in real time.
  4. Click the repeat icon again to stop looping.

Jump to a Zoom Region

Clicking on a zoom region card in the settings panel automatically moves the playhead to the start of that region, so you can quickly preview it.
